Wedding favors are one of the more interesting aspects of planning a wedding but often left a little late in the preparations. Many options now exist to fit almost any budget and even timescale if you are in a hurry. With this in mind, it should be one less item you have to worry about for your big day because your favors might just be a phone call away.

If all other options fail you can always choose the easy wedding favor of flowers which can also decorate the reception at the same time. The preparation for flowers is almost non existent other than deciding on what flowers to use which can be ordered reasonably close to the big day.

Many people who choose flowers decide on a single red rose for each guest as a symbol of their love. It is a simple matter of asking one of your family to place the roses just before everyone is seated at the wedding reception table.

The options available for using candy as an easy wedding favor are huge and probably the single most popular gift. Some people now use a more convenient way to present candy to their guests. This can be accomplished by using large bowls filled with different types of candy as the centerpieces on each table.

Supplying each wedding guest with a small tin or other presentation container so they can fill it with whatever candy they wish and you won’t have anything more to do. Another perk with this is there is not a lot of messy wrapping paper left to clean up.

Pictures frames can also work well especially if they are used as place card holders. The only problem with giving photo or picture frames as a wedding favor is when you have to wrap each picture frame individually. Almost all receptions have place names at the tables for the guests so this is an ideal way to present the frame without the need to spend time and more money on wrapping paper which will only be discarded.

Another easy wedding favor option to end this article is to arrange for a professional photographer to attend the wedding reception and take a photo of every couple as they arrive looking their best.

All the photographer needs to do is to have a printer with him so he can give each guest their photo before they leave later in the day. This is a great idea for a wedding favor because your guests will likely be dressed up and will appreciate the opportunity to pose for a professional photo. As a little extra you could ask the photographer if he could bring along a small projector and have a slide show during the reception when guest can see the photos he has taken.

The wedding day is probably one of the best memories for people to want to hold on to And digital wedding photography has changed how wedding photographers can carry out this task ensuring the day is captured on for ever. Couples often have a DVD made as well so that even more of the happy occasion is captured.

Fortunately for wedding photographers they can use an assistant to help them get the right shots but if you’re a friend taking pictures, then how do you get the good shots of the day? Well if you need some help for a wedding you are to attend and you are going to use a digital camera, then you may find some useful information in this article.

Most importantly try to ensure you don’t have poor background scenery and that there aren’t too many people in the shot. Often the couple is in the thick of a crowd and at this point it may be easier to try and capture just their head and shoulders.

Spectacled guests can be a problem as glare from their glasses obscures their eyes and reflects back at the camera. So you could ask them to take their glasses off for the photo, or to turn there heads to the side. To avoid people in the picture coming out dark when the sunlight is behind them, position them where you are taking the photo with the sun behind you.

Where possible, try to capture shots that look to be of an unstaged nature as these tend to look very natural when viewed later; one way to do this is to use the cameras optical zoom and catch them unawares. Allways be ready for the next digital wedding photograph because you can’t ask people to repeat those unforgettable moments that everybody wants to see again and again.

Probably the most important thing to remember with digital cameras is to have plenty of memory in your camera plus fresh batteries and the best way to ensure this is to always carry spares. For 6 mega pixel cameras and up, the absolute bare minimum should be a 1 gigabyte card, preferably 2 gigabytes and always use the highest resolution your camera can manage if the images are to be printed.

If you intend to have the pictures blown up to a large size you will need to ensure your cameras resolution is set to maximum. Storing the wedding images on a computer or CD will mean that you can print them off whenever you want. You can also make a presentation CD or DVD with music that can be played when ever desired.

Digital wedding photography has become a firmly established thriving industry over the last few years. You can achieve a a wonderful selection of beautiful wedding photographs, but just how successful you are will depend on how much you enjoy the challenge, and how dedicated you are to having succesfull photos.
